Humidity too high during summer

Just looking for any suggestions. We are experiencing heavy humidity here in northern Michigan this past week. As a result our ball python's sterlite is giving us trouble with humidity being unstable and rising to 75-85% suddenly. I've made sure her water dish is on the cool side, moved her to the coolest room in our home (we don't have central air), am running two fans round the clock and added more holes in the sterlite but I'm getting worried about higher humidity. Any tricks you experienced folks or those that live in high humidity areas know of? How long at higher humidity before it becomes a health issue or can they handle some rises due to summer weather conditions? I'm thinking maybe it's time to buy a dehumidifier.

Adding a few more holes to the lid helped me drop mine back down. Further back the lids were hole-less.

I'll just close them off when the humidity drops again. That seems like it will never happen though - it's been sweltering and soupy lately and we have no central air. I think the only place I've lived as bad or worse then here was S.Miami.

I have a dehumidifier - I am hesitant to use it though as it pumps out so much (MORE ) heat.

As long as the enclosure doesn't have visible condensation and isn't "damp" you'll be fine.

High humidity is fine as long as you have good air flow.

Summers rock for ball pythons!!!

Okay she's on newspaper and there's not a spot of visible condensation or dampness on the plastic or the paper. There's a fan running in a nearby window so the air is moving well. She ate last night like she usually does....aggressively... so I'll stop worrying. Thanks Adam we've been very concerned and as usual you're experience and voice of reason is a huge help.
