What did you get at Daytona?

Lost, mostly. Hot and tired, somewhat.

But it was an awesome day at Daytona. Joes Crab shack is great. The show seemed like it had more vendors but the floor layout was good and there was usually space to walk around.

I looked at a lot of snakes today. I brought home a sizable champagne male. They originally thought it was a mojave champagne but his markings changed somewhat so they were selling him as a plain champagne. Also, when popping him, the guy couldn't expose the hemipenes, and when I did it at home, I couldn't either. So it's possible it is a she instead of a he.

    Meet Champagne Charlie aka Chuck.

I got the little snake hides to USARk for the auction and I hope they raise a lot of funds.

I was a little annoyed while walking around when it appears that I become invisible and people try to walk into me. Also, this invisibility seems to work on the vendors as well. It's especially bad when a vendor doesn't have posted prices so I have to wait and wait for someone to notice or listen when I repeatedly attempt to get the attention of a vendor to ask a price. So when there's no prices and no one wants to help me buy something, I move on.

Luckily, there's LOTS of great vendors and great people. So there's lots of snakes to choose from.

Tomorrow I hope to find a banana. If not a banana, I might go for something else.

Apparently I wasted my time. The hides went for a total of $25. I'd rather have donated $25 and given the hides to friends. LOL.

You should have talked me out of them. LOL. Turns out I'll have to replace my truck sooner rather than later so I'm in a bit of a panic now.
