Helping stuck shed

So it's been really hot here and I use ambient not variant so when I saw ambient was about to hit 90 I turned off my CHE. I forgot to turn it back on and it got cloudy this evening and temps cooled down to 77 in enclosure. My pinstripe started shedding and is trying to get his shed off but it's coming off in pieces. Humidity never went lower than 54% so that's good. Do I just get temps back up and let him try to finish shedding himself or do I need to do a humid hide or anything?

Bumping the humidity up to 70% ish whenever you notice the snake going into shed will usually help it come off in one piece.

Depending on the time of year and your location, you'll see some fluctuations with temps and humidity. 77°F isn't bad as long as you turned your CHE back one. If your ball python is already in the middle of a shed, you can put him in a Rubbermaid/sterilite tube with warm water and a wash cloth for about 20-30 min, being mindful of the temp of the water. After 20-30 min, take your snake out the tub, and allow it to slither through the wash cloth. That will help with any stuck shed.

I've only had to resort to that once during a heat wave last year. It only occurred with a chocolate lemon blast.
