Bearded dragon in pet store
So i have a friend who works at a petsmart (and well openly talk about their terrible conditions for animals && how she hates it there) but they have a bearded dragon they wont get care for and shes worried about it . Its neck is completely bent back, top of its head touching its spine practically and they dont know why. She said it went back to normal for about a month then happened again. Any idea what's wrong and if she can help it ?

The bearded dragon needs a vet ASAP. She/he could have MBD, or a lack of calcium could be making her bones dissolve.
Keep us updated, hopefully the baby can be taken out of the store and see a vet.

Find their facebook page and make a public post on there about it. Make note of the store (city and state) and what you have observed with the animal.
I did something similar with Petco. I talked to people in the store and got nothing. I posted on their Facebook page and later that day, the Manager of the store was trying to call me as well as someone from their corporate office to get information. The power of the pen is amazing. Just do it in good taste and as a concerned pet owner, not degrading.

Definitely make some waves! The little guy/gal can't speak for itself, so it's up to you to do something. If you start treating asap, it's possible that it may recover, though babies are quite fragile. Best of luck, throw the biggest fit that you can, in a mature and professional way of course. Keep us posted!

Please don't - the store will just pocket the profit and replace it with another one that will be neglected.
Unless and until sellers lose money due to bad husbandry they will not change how they keep their animals.
In my state refusing to take an animal under your care, custody, and control to the vet for treatment is a crime. I would bring in Animal Control.

Omg this is absolutely horrible! Please spread the word about this. I can't believe they are just leaving him to die. This sickens me.

Believe it or not, this is all too common in pet stores, not just the big companies. I see neglected and dying reptiles all the time and it makes me sick to my stomach. I wish there was something that could be done. The worst part is knowing that if that animal had fur, that kind of situation would never be tolerated. All loving reptile owners want to do something, but what can we do? Who do we report this to that will listen, and help us change this? There is no SPCA for that advocates for these sweet animals, no law that truly protects them.

So true same with the rattlesnake roundups. Nobody would stand for treating furry animals that way
