    No, if you read the description only the edges of the foil are glued/sealed. Melamine is a better option as the entire impermeable surface is stuck to the wood, and IMO if your local store carries it the PVC sheet would be the best option.

    thanks for the reply, i was just going to use this on the sides of the rack, but i see your point.. i should just go with the melamine as mentioned. i just didnt know if it would hold heat better or not.
