This is known as a 'wobble' it is very common with any ball python that has the spider gene. It's a neurological condition that comes with the gene, the wobble often gets worse when they get excited like during feeding. However, it should not keep him from being a happy healthy snake.
He's a cute guy!

Re: Upside down !?
Thanks guys. My brother has about 12 years experience with BPs and swear I got a "pastel" not a cinny spider. However he does seem to be very active and happy and I didn't know anything about the "wobble" but I appreciate the heads up. Now I can go about without having the added worry !!! Not bad for 65 bucks from the local breeder !

Looks like a Cinna Bee (Cinnamon x Spider) to me. There is a lot of variation when it comes to that mix. The wobble is a dead give away that it has spider and is not a pastel.
If you goggle Spider ball python wobble you can find a ton of info.

Yep, it's a Spider thing. Won't effect quality of life or anything. I have a Killer Bee, a Spider, and a Humble Bee that are all well North of 2000g. They don't get that big if there was a problem.
