Camille ate last night and seems to be feeling fine. I think raising the heat helped get rid of that RI she had. She just about attacked the tongs and I had no chance to dance the mouse around her. She ate a hopper size mouse and seemed happy with it.
Sudan still has his eye problems. I cannot get the retained bluish cap off his "good" eye. The other eye just looks withered. He must see something...at least light because at night when I go in the bathroom I use
a flashlight so as not to upset him with the overhead lights on. He reacts to the flashlight on his face.
This ball is a fantastic eater. I barely had the tongs in his feeding enclosure and accidentally dropped the adult mouse.
I went to get it with the tongs and he beat me to it. Grabbed it and curled around. That was that!
I am going to try to get his humidity up high when he shows on his skin that he is in shed. I won't be able to tell by his eyes. Maybe all the eyecaps will come off this time.
I soaked him at least 5 or 6 times. His humidity is in the high 40's right which I believe is in the range when not in shed, with hot side temp 94 and cool side 80. He is basking on the cool side and seems content.
But those eyes worry me.
