Thermostat and thermometer
Flawless thermostat. Thank you all for the tips. Still working out the temperature range to keep a constant 90F.

Re: Thermostat and thermometer
As long as under the substrate doesn't go above 94 you will be good. If top of substrate isn't where you want it then you can thin out substrate or your snake will burrow to get warmer. I would keep it set so it only drops 1 degree and make it so it shuts off at 92 under substrate just in case it go over a little, being an on/off thermostat it won't stay one constant temp but it's still a good thermostat for a budget.

I just got the 306 with dual Temps and can't figure out out to set it up. I was hoping soon could help me understand what each function does. I get my ball on Thursday and can't figure out the thermostate.

Might be better off starting your own thread with a link to the thermostat you have...

Posting a new thread will help you get more responses.
Is it ITC? 308 or 306? Making sure it wasn't a typo. Are you using uth? There is outlets for heating and cooling, you want your heat device plugged in heating. If your using a uth you want to sandwich the thermostat probe between the uth and bottom of enclosure. In settings set you temp to 92 and the heating differential to 1 degree. You can set hi/low alarms if yours is equipped with it so an alarm will sound if temp goes to high or drops to low. I believe all of the other settings are for cooling so you don't need to use them. After you having everything set wait an hr or little longer and check your temp under the substrate right above the uth and if it is hotter than 94 turn thermostat down. I like to keep my temp under substrate at 92-93 and then thin my substrate out over uth until on top of substrate is 87-89.

When I get home I will double check the brand and name and make a separate post. It looks like the one in the picture so i thought I could get a step by step instructions. It's almost in Greek
