    Hut Preference

Ok, my snake has 2 almost exactly identical huts. The one she came with was on the hot side, and the one we got from our beardie was on the cold.

She spent all week after we got her on the cold side in that hut and always returned to it after cruising. She would only briefly test out the hut she came with and then come back out.

I thought maybe it was a hut preference, even though they are the same hut, and switched the sides tonight. Since switching, she has been up and circling the tank all night and only goes half in the hut on the cold side.

If they are basically identical, how is she closing one over the other and what can i do to fix it?? I will include a pic so you can see them.

*Edit: hubby said she has finally curled up and gone to sleep after hours of circling, in the hut on the cool side, so hopefully problem solved. If not, suggestions?

Warm ranges from 90-93 and cold ranges from 80-85 (depending on time of day.... our ac shuts off at night so it warms up a bit.)

80-85 is pretty warm, so it could just be she prefers that temperature at the moment. I wouldn't worry- they figure things out, whatever is needed!
