    Sellers Opinion Please...

I'm trying to pick up an animal from a small time seller that posted an animal on morph market. Normally I go through more established people, but in this case no one has what I need. The guy agreed to ship tomorrow. I pay him through paypal and of course my cc puts a hold on the transaction which is totally normal. I myself do not sell over the internet however I have bought plenty of animals that way and never had a shipment held. What is the standard practice for you guys? Have you ever agreed to ship then not done it based on a cc hold?

I don't want to treat this guy unfairly. If this is normal I will cut the guy some slack. If it is not, I am going to cancel the charge.

When you say that the CC has a "hold" on the funds, does that mean the seller can't see him in his PayPal account yet? If that's the case then he would be a fool to ship.

Also unfortunately CC-backed PayPal purchases are quickly becoming a favorite method that scammers use to rip sellers off by getting their money back and absconding with the merchandise, especially now that merchant processors and vendors who take straight credit cards for online transactions are putting in tighter controls to help fight fraud.

I had this happen in the past I received a payment but it was on hold and would take 2 to 3 days before really being in my account, no payment or payment does not clear = no shipment.

Yeah, I guess it does. My account shows a pending charge. He sent me a screenshot of his paypal and it has not hit his account. I hate flipping paypal. I really appreciate the info. I am going to cut the guy some slack.
