    My first clutch hatched!

    Hey everyone,

    so the first clutch has hatched,

    the pairing was a Fire +something X 100% het Hypo

    The guys that stumbled upon this "+something" in their collection named it Cardamon and I am the only person that they let have one of the animals with this gene as they know me and trusted me with it.
    I had already seen multiple animals in their collection which indeed just where different and I believed it really was something genetic, however when I posted pictures of the male I got a lot of people saying that they saw nothing special etc etc. and I do understand the skepticism with so many people thinking their normal is maybe something else and so on, but I also got a lot of unfriendly messages/replies on some Facebook groups.

    Well as the pictures will show, they stand corrected

    Dad;

    Mom;

    (the roll out ended up dying in the egg)

    Fire nr 1

    Fire nr 2

    the Fire's together without flash

    And now he special one of the clutch!

    Cardamon Fire, w/o flash

    and the next 2 are with flash

    There are 6 more babies but I have to wait till they shed out before I dare taking guesses which are normals and which are/ might be Cardamons.

    Let me know what you think

    thanks for looking,

    Andrew

    Congrats AR! I have been introduced to the Cardamon gene in the past. It looks like you have something special there. Can't wait to see the other hatchlings.
    Stay in peace and not pieces.

    Congratulations!!!
    Can't wait to see them out of their eggs.
    I think it'll be easy to tell the difference between the Cardamons and the normals. Some people can be so quick to tell you that you have nothing special, I never listen to that.
    That Fire Cardamon hatching is pretty sweet.

    Thx Ax, you will defonatley see some up dates coming and we'll see where it goes from here, first want to see after they all shed out if there is a single gene Cardamon female so I can try for a super in the future.

    Thank you Albert, I'll post pictures of every hatchling after they have shed, I'll probably gonna need some help defining which are normals and which are Cardamons, though I have a first idea already

    Thx J-Royals, yeah but I can understand it, there are so many people saying they have a dinker that it sometimes gets a bit tiring but some people where just rude and unfriendly (not on this forum).

    I am most certainly very happy I didn't listen to them !
