    Finished up my new Ink

I've been trading taxidermy and taxidermy training for a cover up tattoo with a very talented young tattoo artist in Upstate New York. This is a cover up piece of an old tattoo that I got on an impulse (never do that!), so things were made more complicated by having to make sure that the old tattoo was hidden under the new one.

Julia does amazing work with animals, shapes, and crystals that I just love! Her style is unlike anything I've seen before.

So this is my Silver Celestial Fox with space and crystals and whatnot. The blue crystal at the bottom is the Hope Diamond (in it's original cut).

I will do a proper photoshoot once this is all healed up. These are cell phone pics and my skin is all red and flush after another 5 hour session of ink!

Hope Diamond (before the space was added):

Original tattoo, not the worst, but I got a watercolor Doctor Who tattoo done on my forearm and the whole cherry blossom thing didn't work for me. The grey was easy to go over, the pink was NOT!
