    Did not pass any urates

Sorry I just posted on here about her smearing blood after she peed.
This time she didn't smear blood but she didn't pass any urates. Does that ever happen normally?
I had her at the vet 4 days ago. In the xray it didn't show anything in her butt. And right now her tail looks and feels empty.

Re: Did not pass any urates

If she didnt pass urates, she didnt pee.. Are you saying she peed again..as in 5 days apart?? Snakes dont always pass urates when they pass feces... Sometimes its one or the other... Kinda like us humans..we dont always do both everytime we go to the bathroom.

No she peed a week and a half ago.

Yesterday I was soaking my white bathtub and yellowish liquid came out but no urates.

The yellow is fine. Sometimes when I find it on substrate it looks like a blob or even a very small egg yolk, especially when found on top of or near the white urate.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.

But the white solid urate was missing. That's what I was wondering - is it ever normal for liquid but no solid urate to come out?

I'm not saying that is normal, but I don't think that it is anything to worry about.

I had to think long and hard on your question. I do remember that my BP has done this at least one time. I never gave it a second thought until now. I believe that was well over a year or two ago. Elvira is doing fine at this time.
