How to change mice to rats

    Hello

So i know that my ball python that is arriving in a week is being fed mice (she is 7 month old and 300g)

I read that it could be difficult to change a BP from mice to rat and so i wanted to know what could be done?

Im going to try and feed her a rat appropriate for her size and see how she takes it but i want to be prepared.

If she recuses rats has they are, what can i do to make the transition easier?

before you try to feed it anything, try to let her/him settle into his new home for a week or so, you get better odds of him eating, unless you get lucky and get a really good eater.

Its all up to the snake.
Remember to leave it be for a week and then a couple meals after that.

It's not common for a juvenile BP to be that picky. It does happen, but not very often. You should have no problems if you just offer the correct sized rat.

You shouldn't waste a lot of brain bytes worrying about a problem that has yet to become a problem
