    My Snake Rescue!

Hello, I am fairly new to this site and wanted to share my snake. I have a 5 mo female pastel, Freya that I rescued from petco 2 months ago (they didn't even know she was pastel). She was extremely skinny and I wanted to save her. petco said they were feeding her live mice every week and when I brought her home, she switched to f/t mice instantly. She is an amazing eater, she has had 8 straight weeks of eating and she strikes instantly!

Here are some pictures of Freya:

    Freya is cute! Congrats!

Just need to reiterate though, if you are buying a snake from petco, you are actually just supporting their business. It would not be a "rescue". They're only going to fill that empty spot with another snake. To stop the business of petco selling snakes in malnourished conditions (not all petcos, but most), we need to stop buying from them.

Awesome snake! I just saw a 'lemon blast' at our local PetCo, it was so cool I almost bought it, but it didn't fit in my breeding plans!
