Update to the nameless Caramel Jag

    Still haven't named him.
Took him to a local herp vet for a checkup and fecal and he passed with flying colors. He's also a confirmed "He"

As predicted by DennisM, he discovered his roof-top hide. He rarely deigns to hang out on the floor now. . .

Although sometimes his patience is rewarded.

I also finally found my proper camera (not a phone) and grabbed a couple of shots.

Beautiful Jag Bright. How old is he? I love the aerial hides too. How did you secure those to the top? For names I like Neo, Lovelace, Morpheus, or Brutus .

He's coming up on three years old.

I used mirror hangers to hold the hide in, which is nice because I can slide it in and out. I'm not sure who posted it, but I got the idea on this forum. I tried to be MrSmartguy and use heavy duty mirror hangers (if normal duty works, heavy duty must be better... right?), but they didn't hold tight enough to the ceiling surface so I went back to "regular" grade.

I will take those names under advisement! It's a long process in my house though, and most animals end up with a collection of names rather than just one.

I love the arboreal hide idea. How did you go about securing it?

Glad you posted the pic of the ceiling hide, I'd almost forgotten that we want to do this when our AP order comes in.
