Copper Tubing?

Is there anything wrong with using copper tubing for the water delivery system? When all of my rats escaped, the chewed up all the plastic tubing I originally had. I want to replace it with something much more durable. Right now I have free range rats in my house I would like to catch and put back in the rack. I have already caught a bunch of babies my smaller bp's have enjoyed.

I wouldnt see why not. I have considered it for a similar reason you metioned. If our home plumbing can be constructed of copper and solder then I can't see it being a problem.

What would you use for nipples?

The only problem will be when your lines clog. When they do, you'll be stuck with hard piped water systems. You'd be surprised what can get in the lines.
