Is it possible to get a normal sex ratio from a banana?

Basically I was wondering if it is ever possible to get a 50-50 sex ratio from a banana ball python. What I've heard is when the banana is a female a 50-50 banana ratio results which makes sense to me considering the males determine the sex of the babies however I've also heard that females can also throw strange sex ratios which is really confusing.

I haven't had too many clutches from female bananas, maybe five or so but all produced typical sex ratios. I'm sure there are strange ratios here and there but that happens. I would guess if it wasn't a banana female they would just think it was a random weird clutch.

Non-50:50 sex ratios could simply be from the luck of the draw. I've seen a video of a guy who tossed a coin and got 10 heads in a set of 10 tosses. And whenever an odd number of babies hatch from a clutch, the sex ratio would not be 50:50.

That makes sense. I hatched my first clutch last year and 4/4 of the eggs that hatched were females strangely enough. That definitely helps make my decision easier. I'd way rather have a female banana that throws normal sex ratios than a male that throws strange ratios. The males produced from a female are female makers correct?

    Yes, that's correct.
