I can't see the list you linked to. As a baseline I would start with a small plastic storage bin for the enclosure, a high-quality thermostat that you can use for the duration of the reptiles life, a ultratherm heat pad, digital thermometer and hygrometer, a hide, and a water bowl.

Also, do plenty of research online especially here. Don't get caught up in what they tell you at the pet stores because what you end up with most likely is a glass aquarium meant for fish with a screen lid and heat light that will be impossible to maintain humidity without covering the screen lid in aluminum foil or some other contraption

I would suggest looking for a tub that has a locking lid. These guys know how to escape and will. But everything else looks fairly good. I would definitely look into getting a Herpstat thermostat as they are really neat devices and have been trustworthy. They are a bit on the expensive side but it comes with the hobby. Invest(at a low cost) in some pegs for the tub to hold is up. I used bottle caps and duct tape. Don't forget to add a sturdy/heavy water bowl Good luck!

Welcome to the forum. As for tubs with locking lids. I would try the Hefty brand of containers. I get mine from lowes. The only time, I have had one escape is when I forgot to lock the built in latch on the bin. I have used them for years with no problem.

The heat mat might be too big. I don't think 16-qt tubs are 11" wide . And if you want to use that tub, get 2 luggage straps to keep it closed, probably easier to just get a better tub though. Try to find one with clips on all 4 sides. . .they're harder to find but they do exist.

you need a water bowl but you probably have something like that around the house. just make sure it's heavy so it doesn't get tipped over. i would put a heavy book or two on top of the enclosure just in case. locking lids are nice but it's a good precaution. you'd be surprised how they can houdini their way out.

*EDIT* btw, you should consider getting another tub. it's good to have a backup and having something to put the snake in while you're cleaning everything is a lifesaver.

Ultratherm has 6x11 heat pads. For water bowls I just use heavy ceramic ones from target from their fancy designer series stuff. They usually are clearancing them out to make room for the new stuff, so their like 3 or 4 dollars. I use ones with a square bottom so their harder to tip over.
