    Breeding

My name is Jon and I am new to Ball-Pythons.net. I am interested in breeding Albinos. I realize that I should buy my female first and then buy the male. But here is the reason I am posting, have any of you heard about TopShelfExotic.com? The guy seems like he is very good at ball pythons and is selling some female 100% het albino for $550. It seems almost too good to be true so that is why I am asking if he is reputable.

    Thanks,
    Jon

Chris has a very solid reputation in this industry. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Make sure it is Chris (aka Top Shelf Exotics) that you are really dealing with. I say that because I do not see any het albinos for sale on his site. Where did you see the ad?

Chris does not usually keep a running list of bp morphs on his site. He posts updated adds on kingsnake and faunaclassifieds. Chris is a good guy... go for it that is a good price.....if you ever wonder about a breeder, supplier, etc. check the BOI on faunaclassifieds.com

    Re: Breeding

Hi Jon and welcome! We are going to be new owners too and this is a great forum, as is the Top Shelf forum as well. We are adopting a snake but will be buying our first two female babies from Chris after we get the adoptee (won't call it a rescue as it's been well loved) settled in. Everything we've heard, read and in the emails we've had with Chris indicates he's a good guy, straight forward, knowledgeable and best of all, there for you after your purchase as much as during it (which we're told is very important).
