    Does anybody know???

I am wondering if anyone knows the process to become fedex certified? Or if they even still certify people to ship reptiles and amphibians? I know that there is a thread in the shipping forum that is all about how to become certified but it is a bit dated, so I was just trying to see if the process is still the same or if there are different hoops to jump through now. Amy insight is much appreciated.

They still certifie people and the process is still the same, the only thing that may have change are the phone number, simply pickup the phone and ask to be transferred to the right department they will guide you through the process on how to send your test package once you have created an account.

And of course remember that you can use ship your reptiles http://www.shipyourreptiles.com/.

You do not need to be certified to ship with ship your reptiles, and you will likely get a bigger discount through them than you will directly through Fedex, unless you are planning on very large volume.

However being certified does not hurt it shows that you know how to ship and properly package an animal. (I am certified)

    Re: Does anybody know???

You can contact the FedEx Live Animal Desk to get the process of certification started- 800-405-9052.

When you use ShipYourReptiles.com, you are shipping under our certification, so you don't need to be individually certified, but you ARE agreeing to meet our TOS, which in turn meet the FedEx TOS, including at 3/4" insulation on your boxes, along with temperature and heat pack guidelines.

Along with a discounted rate, we also are the only ones to offer an On-Time and Live Arrival Guarantee!

We have customer service staff available Monday through Friday, 7am to 6pm MST, at info@ShipYourReptiles.com and 303-730-2125. Let us know if you have any questions!
