Tub size advice for new rack

I want to build a rack that will satisfy my needs for the next year or two. I currently have 1 800g male and 1 300g female. I will probably be buying a 1600+g female soon and plan on breeding her this winter.

With that said, what tub sizes would I need to be able to hold a total of like 3 females, 2 males, a few juvis, and a clutch of hatchlings? Can this all go on 1 rack or would I need 2? Which tubs would go on what rack?

Sorry for the formatting. On mobile.

I would say two racks. If you're heating with heat tape, or ambient room heat, the possibilities are almost endless. I would do one rack that holds 41qt tubs. This would be good for adults of either sex, and if you wanted, you could always slide a 28/32qt tub in one of the spots as well. Just go out and measure some tubs for the height if you go this route to make sure both will fit. If not, worst case is for the smaller tubs you have to keep lids on. Or you can just keep adult males and females in 41qt tubs. Some folks keep adults, either sex, in 32qt tubs, but I think big females need a little more rooom.

The other rack, you could build big enough for 15 qt tubs, and still use 6qt tubs in it, either sideways or just adjust where the heat tape is.

If you look at Animal Plastic's website, and their racks, you'll get some ideas how some tubs can go in longways and other tubs go in sideways. I just built a rack that holdes either 2 15qt tubs per shelf, or one 32qt tub.

Usually BP tend to do best in

    6 quarts until 150/250 grams

15 quarts up until 800/900 grams

32 quarts up until 2000 grams

    and

41 quarts or V70 for 2000 grams and over animals.

While a 300 grams BP might do well in a 32 quarts a few months from now it might not anymore and require to be switch to something smaller so having several sizes available is very important.
