    How much Flexwatt

Ginger's new PVC enclosure is 48x23x23 - how much Flexwatt do I need to provide her heat? And do I use an UTH for a hot spot?

    Thanks,
    Pamela & Ginger

Flex-a-watt us what you use for under tank heating.
Generally you want 1/3 of the floor space heated.

Is it used for ambient heating of the enclosure? Or do you need RHP for that?

    Re: How much Flexwatt

I use 12" flexwatt on one side and have 80watt RHP on the other . get cold where I live in the winter or I would just use the RHP, my other one I have it run down the middle so I have two sides and a 40watt RHP in each side.
