yeah, he's anerythristic. i got him at a local mom and pop pet shop b/c he's purple is so cool. i got colubrids to have something different from BP's, don't know much about them tho. the girl there who is a herper herself thought he might turn black but i don't mind if he doesn't b/c i love the purple.

He will definitely not turn black

that's why so many people think they are "garden snakes", not garter snakes. I think I've heard that mistake at least a 100 times.
