Re: Clutch #1 is starting to come out of the eggs
Photo quality is better in this one .... The one I numbered I sent to my girlfriends phone because it has as stylus (easier to write the numbers) and then had her send it back to me so I could post it ... Well evidently the transfer back and forth between phones altered the quality of the photo somehow ..... (I'm not the most tech savvy person lol)

I see a Bumblebee top left, a Spider bottom right, 3 pastels (2 of which are really nice) and a Normal. Nice clutch and nice to get 4 different morphs out of 6 eggs.

Congrats T, they all look plump and healthy. Just remember , if you do decide to sex them you only need less than finger pressure. Keep us posted. Good job.

Thanks Albert .... After watching multiple videos on popping (and I've seen it done several time in person) I decided to attempt it .... Nothing on any of them so they were all female .. right?? Yea I didn't think so either ... So then I attempted on several of my proven males and again ... Nothing. So I obviously am not doing something right. I have always probed my snakes to sex them, this is my first clutch and first time dealing with babies so I am also nervous about probing them being that the probe I will need to use is the size a 0.7mm mechanical pencil lead and they are so tiny and seem so fragile .... I'm probably just over stressing about it I know LOL

Re: Clutch #1 is starting to come out of the eggs
It does take practice but don't stress it right now. To me, it's safer to pop hatchlings than probing and the reverse for adults. You have plenty of time to double check your results. Sometime as newly hatched babies your initial sexing results can be wrong. What you don't want to do is repeated checking without giving it a break for a couple of days. You'll be fine. Make sure your landmarks are correct when you are attempting the procedure that makes it very easy.
