Heh, that would be nice... but I don't think we're quite there yet. It's more like I've been deemed warmer and less exposed than the tabletop. But hopefully he'll eventually figure out that there aren't any predators here except for him.

The cornsnake is that way too. He is a "runner" until he ducks into the cuff. Then he settles down back to his calm and easy going ways, even after he slithers out again.
