    Stuck shed , should I wait ?

I'm a new owner and only had my Python for a bit over a month, I got it for my kids for Christmas. She finally tried to shed, but I don't think it was a success. She had zombie eyes on Wednesday and Thursday , and than it cleared up. She spent about 3 days after that on the warm side in the hide, and even though humidity was around 60% being in that hide dried her up really good.
I was checking if she was ok and lift her hide and she started moving like crazy and tried to get her shed off, she went about it for an hour or so and got it off her head, than she pooped and stopped after.
She didn't seem to make any progress at night and looked the same in the morning. I have waited two more days ,but she has everything on her still, except the head skin. Is she going to try more ? Should I give her a soak ? Thanks

A full body soak can actually cause more trouble than it's worth.

Would this not be the same as full body soak or is it better in some way ?
Also, do you think I should wait a bit more before trying something like that or should I just go ahead with it ?
Its been few days , but it doesn't look like she is trying anymore as hard as I saw her try that first time

A full soak can leech out all the oils she needs to get rid of the old skin. I would go ahead and give it a try.

Would this way be ok, wouldn't the wet rug and the water on he bottom get rid of the oil as well?
Or is It just to build up more humidity ?

To build a humid environment. It's not like a full body immersion.

If you don't like the idea in the thread I linked, you can also soak a cotton pillow case in warm water, ring it out, and let your snake crawl around inside it for 20 minutes.

Thank you so much for your help.
Will she be safe in the pillow case ? Do I need to assist her in anyway ?
Can I do it during the day time ? Is there enough air for her not to suffocate in the damp pillow ?

This is what I would call a full body soak, perhaps I am taking the post out of context?

Try the soak, if she the shed on her head is gone then the oils are already good as gone. I think what was meant was that you should not soak the snake prior to it shedding, once it has started and is unsuccessful the oils are already compromised.

Which will be less stressful for a snake pillowcase or a soak ? Can she get her stuck shed off by just slithering through the case or will I have to peel that shed off either way ? Thanks
