Best sites to buy frozen rats/mice from

I only have 1 BP so I really don't want to have to buy in bulk, so is there any site that is a bit cheaper with a realistic amount of rats to accomodate a single snake's growth cycle?

I find that starting with fuzzy rats, Big Cheese is pretty fair with their bag sizes/prices.

If you have a trusted local supplier or an expo in your area that would probably be the best place to shop for feeders. Even with only 1 snake I think it's less expensive to buy in bulk online than buying at a pet store. I've used Big Cheese and Perfect Prey and they're both really good. I was mostly using Big Cheese but they were out of medium and small rats when I placed my last order so I gave Perfect Prey a shot. They both have great packaging, prices and high quality feeders.

I use perfect prey. I order any where from 150 to 200 rats every other month. I have never had a problem with my order.

When you order from perfect prey are the rats/mice wrapped in singles or all together? If all together to you just keep them in freezer bags to keep them fresh?

@ Eric- the feeders aren't individually wrapped. I usually break mine down into smaller freezer bags with a few feeders in each bag to maximize freshness.

I used to use perfect prey ( I breed my own now) and thought they were great. You would have to buy in bulk to make economic sense cause its not really the price of the rodent its the shipping that will jack up the per rodent price. Alsokeep in mihd from what I hear frozen rodents have a shelf life of 8-12 months.

From personal experience I will absolutely throw my vote in for Big Cheese Rodents. Their feeders are clean and well packaged, flat rate shipping is $29.99, and with what they have individual feeder priced at, even if you only order one package of rats at a time, it's still factors out to be much cheaper per feeder than buying individual frozen items from the pet store.
