is this normal for mice?
well one of my females had about 10 babies(just my guess) two days ago. I keep two females in one enclosure. There are two hide boxes in the enclosure. One female will take a baby out of one hide box and move it to the other. Then, the other female will take that baby and move it back to the original enclosure. This has been going on pretty much constantly for the past 10 minutes or so. I was just wondering if this is normal behavior for mice, because it sure seemed weird to me.

Re: is this normal for mice?
Yep, they steal babies from each other. If all babies are taken care of and not hurt in the process, then it's ok. Just keep an eye on them in case they get too rough.

Oh yeah, babies are squeakers. They squeak anytime they aren't eating or sleeping. Sometimes they even do while they are eating. Little stinkers...
