    Opinions needed.

In the next month or so I'll be not only upgrading my thermostats and racks but adding one more female to my collection. I'm planning on putting a deposit down on either one of two females I have my eye on, both of which I have plans to add to my collection anyways, just can't decide which to pick.

I have the option of adding either a enchi Yellowbelly female or a orange dream pastel female. I'm torn between which I want more right now. If I have patience, I could just breed my own enchi female down the road, so I'm leaning more towards the POD girl. So my question is, if you were adding these two female to your collection, which would you add first?

I'm more of a pet owner than a breeder... so for me, whichever one I liked more.

Agreed. Hard to say With out seeing them. Orange dream seems hot right now, but might not be when she's at breeding age. Also depends on your future breeding plans.

There are so many things that yellowbelly can do. I love orange dream too. I'd probably have to see them in order to pick.

so u have 2 picked out already? like you've seen the exact Enchi YB and the exact OD Pastel that u would choose from? if that's the case, i would get the best looking and/or most unique from the two. u can also post pix and we could easily help u pick.

    if u don't have 2 in mind, i would go OD first b/c that's what I did.

on the other hand Eric Alan does have a hot 0.1 Enchi YB up for sale.

I will go OD pastel because i plan my all collection on OD projects but I would worry of the Pastel quality that can mess up in that combo. Plus if you already have a enchi girl growing ... for a small collection is nice to have different genes. But after seeing your male list and the potential hatchlings boy you can get from your actual collection i m not so sure... enchi YB is far more suitable to your collection almost the best double gene girl you can add honestly. what could be better?? Maybe a sugar YB but enchi YB will be my second choice if i was you. ( of course at this range of price)

    Re: Opinions needed.

Yeah, after thinking about it, I'm pretty sure I'm going to add the enchi Yellowbelly female over the POD, for now at least. I really want to focus on enchi combos once my girls are ready to go. Nice bright, clean enchi combos. So the Yellowbelly in there only helps my project out further. I'll probably add a OD combo male down the road to plug in to some nice enchi hold back females I produce eventually. I'm still probably 18 months away from starting to pair, so I don't want to get overwhelmed before I even begin. I'll probably add another 2-3 females this year, but I plan on being very picky. Only the best quality examples of the morphs.

Thanks everyone for the opinion/input. I really think enchi Yellowbelly is the best route right now for me, especially for the projects I have planned.

For orange dream quality is hard to say because they evolute a lot. i like them with deep black, reduce pattern and vibrant orange. but others prefer light exemples. As i target super OD combos i prefer dark one because YB and Fire in the mix make them already too light. With enchi in the mix i honestly don t know and i will need 3 or 4 more years to make sure.
