    they're certainly high on my list of non biters. I think I've been bit twice in 23 years of BP keeping. I've also found sumatran short tails to be unwilling biters, I don't think I've ever been tagged in 11 years of keeping these. I've kept about 20 species of snakes over the years and nothing has been as non-bitey as these two (maybe corn snakes). I'd give cal kings honorable mention because they don't seem to bite out of aggression or defense, but the babies often seem to confuse fingers for small rodents.
