Cinnamon or Black Pastel?
Hey guys. I bought this lady as a cinnamon het clown adult breeder 3000g. However the breeder I bought her from was of the opinion that cinnamon and black pastel are the same. To me she looks more like a black pastel. What do you think and why?

I am seeing a Cinny.
Some people think they are the same.....
Why? Just my thoughts on coloring compared to a good black pastel.

Thank you very much for you answer.
I read that the adult black pastels lighter areas in the pattern are more golden, while the cinnamons are more brown. To me she looks slightly more golden than brown. The only reason why I asked is, because I am breeding her and I don't want to mislabel her potential offspring.

Thank you Stormy. Your black pastel looks indeed darker. Also its side pattern looks busier. I am inclined to believe my girl is a cinnamon.

I have seen black pastels look like cinnies and cinnies look like black pastels once adults color wise (there is variation in both morphs.), usually the markings is what differentiate them but not always either (again a lot of variation).
Yes black pastel are darker with deeper orange however this is for hatchlings and there is a HUGE difference between hatchlings and adults.
If the person told you it was a black pastel (I assume he would know what he is working with) there is really no reason for him to lie, there is no gain from it.
