Today I was watching Jeff Corwin and I saw the coolest T ever!I forgot what it was called but I decided to go into the T keeping hobby.I used to be soooo afraid of them but I guess I'm not anymore.I have some supplies(ie:cages, water bowls,etc.).For the T keepers:what species should I start with?I want something docile(I wont hold it much, though),small, and forgiving of husbandry mistakes.Any good care sheets?

I recently picked up a Brazilian black (Grammastola pulchra) & she's a little sweetheart...a species I'd definitely recommend looking into if you want a friendly tarantula.
Another thought - check out

Chilean rose hairs (grammastola rosea) are definitely a good beginner species, as are mexican red knees. Rose hairs are readily available, and inexpensive. I have one, and he's quite docile.
No tarantula is going to be 'small' per se.. T's are big, hairy spiders.
