    Breeding Rats

I currently have a rat breeding operation going. I have 4 proven females, two males 1 proven, and three unproven females. I say proven and unproven because i used to breed mice and have had some duds on both ends lol. For my current collection of 17 bp's this is obviously not enough as they will pound through a litter and a half a week! Anyone have a good balanced ratio of snakes to rats going. I try to feed at least once a week.

    Re: Breeding Rats

Considering breeders rotation and the number of snakes to feed you should have 1 female rat for every snake you own.

I have 18 snakes. Of those, about 12 eat rats. I currently have 13 breeding females and I'm producing enough to feed everyone. I even have some extras. My females produce about every two months.
    Under Construction.....
