2015, saw the most species of snakes for my personal field herping records thanks to the copious trips my wife and I made into chambers and Montgomery counties. As well as our impromptu trip out west to Jeff Davis County, for Rattlesnakes and Subocs. Our honeymoon in Honduras was mostly fruitful yielding an OK 5 species of snakes having only spent a couple hours actively searching outside of our full day trip for the Hog Island Boas on the Major and Minor islands. All were photographed if they are on this list, albeit some better than others. Looking forward to 2016, as we push new areas and attempt to break the lists records each and every year.

That is an impressive list.

It's been a great year! For my wife around 3/4 of this list were lifer snakes for her. The timber was incredibly random.

What an awesome gallery of photos. It looks as if you had a great year. I love the pic of the baby cotton mouth. Even at their tiniest they look pretty menacing.

Cottonmouths were the number 1 species for the year on an abundance standpoint. Black tailed and western rattlesnakes were definitely number 2 and 3 due to their numbers out west we found. Love baby vipers regardless

Planning our next trips as we speak for 2016. May get to spend some time in the Capital of Mexico herping this coming year. Doing a trip to find Wild Guatemalan Beaded Lizards. And spending some time out in Cockscomb Jaguar Sanctuary, Belize, all early on in the year. Add on potential impromptu trips to south texas, south east Arizona, and west texas again for Lepidus, and we SHOULD top 2015's list.
