Question Ball Python Coming out during the morning and afternoon

    Hi all!

I am am new to the forum. I am wondering how normal is it for a ball python to explore in the morning and afternoon? I have had Sasha since beginning of November. She'll be 3 months old very soon. She used to hide all the time! She eats very well, and enjoys playtime at night when I take her out. Since she's become more familiar with me, and her surroundings she comes out of her hides more often. I have change my husbandry slightly. I switched to Forest Floor from Aspen bedding to assist with humidity levels. Her temps on the cool side are about 78 degrees ferhenhiet and the warmer side it stays around 87. She has a piece of driftwood, a water dish, plastic foliage, two hides on either side, a UTH with thermostat attached, along with a CHE, and a red "nightlight". Humidity is sitting about 55% currently. I'm worried that I'm doing something wrong. She's in a 10 gallon tank, and will soon be moved to a 41 qt Rubbermaid container once she gets slightly bigger.

Please let me know any advice!

    Thanks in in advance guys!

My 5 month old explores during the day, and I mean all the time after 10AM, until 8PM, and then he just sleeps. I think he is diurnal.
