    Follicle question

Ok so i've never bred a ball python before so this is probably an extremely nooby question(s) but do female ball pythons create follicles even when they aren't bred? And if they do is this yearly? And also what would happen if the follicles weren't fertilized? Would she just poop out slugs? lol. Anyways thanks in advance.

I am actually not sure if it happens every year, but it does happen. If the follicles are not fertilized, very super rarely would they actually lay a clutch of slugs. Usually they just get reabsorbed by the female.

    Re: Follicle question

Hmm that's pretty interesting (that they reabsorb the follicle). Thanks for the reply.
