    2015 Holdbacks

Here are three hatchlings we held back this year. There is nothing earth shattering about the morphs but it's nice that we produced them. These are cell phone pics so there is no editing, flash, or enhancements.

The first is a 0.1 Pastel. She hatched in May, is over 300 grams, and is still holding her color well for a straight Pastel. I also like how busy her pattern is. I am thinking her pattern would lend itself well to being paired her with a Fire Spotnose or perhaps something having Leopard in it.

The next is a 0.1 Ivory. This is what got my daughter and I started in BP's almost five years ago. She bought a male YB at a Repticon show. Then the following year she decided to buy a female YB. They were both finally big enough to breed and out of six eggs she hit two Ivories. She decided to holdback the more patterned of the two.

Last is an 1.0 Enchi Yellowbelly het Hypo. For those of you who may not have caught my earlier thread, here's a recap. It was a six egg clutch, and the first five out were three YB hets and two Normal hets. It wasn't looking very promising and the last one was playing it pretty close to the vest, hardly showing itself. It just had about half the nose showing most the time. I don't cut unless I believe there is an emergency. When this guy finally crawled out a day after all of the others, I was surprised and thrilled. This is exactly what I was hoping to hit. I want to eventually put him back to mother for the chance at a Super Enchi Yb Hypo. I also have a really nice Lesser het Hypo girl that is at about 650 - 700 grams right now and I think YB Lesser Enchi Hypo would be nice.

    Thanks for looking

It's nice to see others into the more heavily patterned stuff. Great looking holdbacks you've chosen too!

Nice snakes Riditmars, Congrats on hitting your target with the Enchi YB!
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
