Um..?
He just ate and has decided that this is basically the position he's going to be in for the night (when he's not roaming). Is this normal?

lol great pic
do you use back heat? i am guessing no, that you have a uth but if he is comfortable he will stay that way no harm i would think
Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Only thing I can think of is if its much too hot and that side glass is the coolest place to lie ?
Unlikely reason , I understand ..

Re: Um..?
Haha nice pic. My male will do that from time to time, BPs can be kind of strange sometimes. I don't think its anything to worry about if its only for a few minutes.

He's actually on the warm side of the tank although he does have a little piece of cold glass he enjoys every now and then on the other side

I don't see why there's anything wrong with it, you're going to give him 48+ hours to digest anyway, he won't stay like that forever. My royal likes to roam about after having a big meal, pretty stupid thing to do, but hey, leave him to it. xD

He's just Herp-Derping.
Some of my snakes do that every once in a while. Usually not after eating, but have done so after a meal.
The one thing I found that you can count on about Balls is that they are consistent about their inconsistentcy.
