    Price Check and Reptile Expos

I've gained a lot of interest in ball pythons. Currently living overseas researching to prepare to own my first pet snake. What are the best reptile expos to buy ball pythons? Is it better to use debit or cash? Also whats a rough estimation on how much I'll spend on the morphs I'm interested in? I want to be prepared when the time comes.

Well, expos (none that I have been to) have debit so you will need to bring cash. Any expo will do really. They usually vary in size and who is going to be there so it is up to you to research the breeders who will be at that particular expo. And prices vary depending on location and the breeder. The best way to find out an estimation on price is to look up what other breeders sell them for.

And just because I saw it, the scaleless ball python is super rare and so far I believe only two breeders in the US have actually produced one... They are pretty much priceless right now.

I've been looking heavily at bananas and pieds while going to shows around Florida (and one in Colorado), plus looking online at kingsnake.

Super banana's I haven't seen at shows, but the few on classifieds I've seen are like 10k+. I imagine most of these hatched are holdbacks.
Banana's usually go for 200-300 for males and 500+ for females. That's single gene though. The common co-dom morphs add about 100 to the price and the more desireable is more like 100-200. So for those 3+ gene bananas you're looking at like 600+ for a male and 1k+ for a female, and that's on the low end.
Banana pieds I've seen a few for like 3-6k, one for like 15k because it was a paradox where you could see the normal pied colors and the banana pied colors.
Pieds are like 200 for males and 400 for females. If you're fine with the low whites you might be able to find something closer to 100/300. I did get a great deal at the last show in Tampa, FL for a 450ish gram female pied for 350. Bonus for me she eats anything and everything I put in front of her.
Panda pied I haven't seen for sale in person. Online it's probably like 8k+ for a panda pied. People sell the pairs to get panda pieds for like 2-3k and one is only a het for pied.
Scaleless I have zero clue. I'd be super nervous about it though. I've only seen one at a show so far and they had those grease markers for a 10k animal but the scaleless had a permanent sticker and it just said "$$$$$". I'm just not sure I could see if something was really missing a scale or just had an injury.

I forgot to answer the debit part. Everyone prefers cash, always. A lot of places take credit/debit, but it seems to be like 50/50. Or maybe most do but they would really rather you go to the atm to get the money or have the money already.

I've seen a few on some breeder sites that are the het, but I think they're like 6.5k+ for a normal.

Impossible... scaleless is not recessive and cannot have a het, it is a co-dom gene. Scaleless ball python is the super form of Scaleless head x Scaleless head.

    Cash is king, always!

As far as the best expos Tinley in Chicago USA , Hamm Germany, Daytona USA (Also Daytona is not what is used to be)

A lot of things you are looking for will not be found at small shows.

As far as pricing because some are hard to find animal it would be even harder to price them.

Banana combos you are looking at $250 males to $900 females for 2 genes (dom or co-dom), Banana Pied $3000/$3500 Male.

The best thing for you to do to get an idea is to go on Kingsnake.com and price the animals you are looking for.

BEL $350$/500 depending on the BEL and sex

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

Sorry I was using my own terminology, I meant scaleless head, not scaleless het.
