    Mixing and Storing Eco-Earth

So, I bought some Eco-Earth yesterday for my gecko and I have a lot left over. I was planning on using some for my BPs until I run out, because the Aspen is still sealed anyway. It's been soaked in water (the brick) and expanded, but how do I store it? Last time, I left it out and moths got into it. But I am also worried that, if I store it in a tub, that it will develop mold.

Toss it - or dry it out in the oven. Next time start with half a brick and add more if needed.

Can I use it mixed with the Aspen to raise humidity? I've heard of people doing this. I wondered if it was worth it.

I've done that. Aspen and exo earth. It's a good look and raises the humidity nicely

It shouldn't grow mold unless you keep it soaking wet all the time. Just misting a little should keep it damp but not moldy
