Nice job, looking forward to the pics. The only thing I might have done differently would have been to rent a mixer and just poured a concrete slab for the floor, and to have made it 8×16. I'm betting when she hits five or six feet that cage won't seem as big. Make sure she has plenty of well secured, large branches to make use of that vertical space.
Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?

Hey Florida Boy, very cool project. We are actually in the process of building more large exterior cages for a monitor project as well. What County are you in?

Actually, I thought about pouring the floor but I want it to be well drained and I might want to disassemble it to move it or expand it at some point. We get months of daily rain here and I don't want standing water in it.
She's already a good 6 ft. I've had her for several years now(check my gallery here and I believe there's shots of her in her previous outdoor pen). She even laid eggs for me one year and I hatched some of them. Definitely not a new reptile.
I do still have to build the heated hidebox, but right now, we're still in hot weather. If the darned rain would hold off for me at the right time of day, I could be done with it now. When it's done(and I've pushed the dirt down proper and put the logs in) I'll try to take a video.
Oops, forgot to add, I'm in Clay county.

Here she is outside. She's lost a bit of weight the last couple months but she will gain it back quickly. I'm uploading a video of the pen now but it's such a slow process. Also, she's dirty but I have to pick up a new hose to have running water to the pen. Apparently my yard guy ran over the old hose. A few times.

Video of the pen. Took two tries to get it uploaded and then it uploaded to this account instead of my Wolfyhound account. But at least it's posted. So... there.
