What do you do with them? Most of the time I throw them away, but I got to thinking. Could I sell them on E-bay? (not such a crazy Idea. I have a friend who actually sold a tumble weed on E-bay.) What if I unrolled them and filled them with that expanding foam insulation? Then I would have these foam snake shaped clubs to throw around the house.

I guess what I'm getting at; is there anyone out there who puts these things to good use?

A guy actually sold an air guitar on ebay! That just shows you that people will buy just about anything!!!

I've seen people with snake skin hanging from their rear view mirrors.

not going to be around too much this week

I put mine in bags and date them for later size referance.

Who knows, maybe someone will buy it on e-bay, you can sell just about anything on there, and after all, snake skins are really cool and i bet there are a few people who would like to have one.

I found this shed from Roxy right after she had done it (when it was still wet and stretchy) so i was able to make it nice and straight.

I also save mine and put them in marked ziplock bags. Not just because of size reference, but because I'm a big pack rat when it comes to anything with Pelota. She's my first snake. I kept her first shed, her first perfect shed, the box she came in from the breeder, etc.

Funny thing, Just last week I was thinking I could probably get some money for a shed of Pelota's if I put it on eBay. I thought of it because we're currently selling a little fruit snack that I found 5 years ago when eating a package of "Sodalicious" snacks. It was deformed in processing I guess, but it takes the shape of the Virgin Mary. 5 years ago when I found it, my mom and I never thought of getting money for it. Now with eBay and their crazy Virgin Mary stuff, we figured we could get a bit of X-mas money and donate some to an Armed Forces Support thing my mom helps run. If you're curious, do a search for Virgin Mary candy in the "Everything Else" category.

I like the idea of filling full sheds with the expanding foam stuff. Very creative. It'd also give a better 3-D idea of how big the snake was at the time.....if it doesn't stretch it out too much. Cool idea.

I'd been considering starting a thread like this.. lol

I just keep all mine in a little plastic container. I'm trying to think of a use for them.

pretty much the same as shelby here, i keep them in a drawer, one for each snake. still trying to thing of a use for them. maybe once i get enough, ill sew them together and make a curtain for a windo out of them. or maybe some kind of blanket, if i can find a way to get them on there where they wont be ripped. that would be kinda cool

Here's what my breeder I got Pelota from does with her sheds. She's quite creative. Especially with her Dragon Sculptures. Not trying to do any cheap plugs. I just love her work. Wish I had the money to get that big dragon of hers. :o

Shed skins are so brittle. It'd be hard to do much with them. It'd be awesome to have a 20' one piece retic shed... heh. I'd just frame it and put it on the wall.
