    Digesting and pooping

How often is my snake suppose to poop? And should you feed them again before they poop?

Noodles enjoys leaving me one GIANT surprise every two to two and a half months. Every snake is different though... Some poo 2-3 days after every feeding, some once every two weeks, once a month, etc... I feed her on a 5-7 day schedule regardless. She pees and passes urates normally in this time, but saves up her poop for a while.

When they are ready, there is no set schedule, it depends on the animal, and feeding.

It can be once a week like it can be once a month, every other month or more.

The key is to make sure your animal is well hydrated and that there is no persistent bulge near the vent area.

The best time to expect it is when they shed granted they are fed adequately.

    Re: Digesting and pooping

Both of mine give me a surprise once about every month-month and a half. They pass urine much more regularly, and usually shed a couple weeks after their bowel movement.
