How long is p/k feeder "good", to be frozen for a later date?

I have a picky bp that will only eat p/k rats. We kill them humanely in a CO2 tank. She is also very shy, and prefers her feeder placed in her tub, and she will devour it when she feels the coast is clear. Anyway, the little stinker decided not to eat her rat last night. It was placed in her tub about 1am. I got up to check on her about 5:30am, so it was setting for nearly 5 hours. I froze it in a ziploc freezer bag for one of the other kids that eats f/t. Is it still good after 5 hours? Or should I just throw it away? It did feel stiff, so rigor mortis had set in. Is that OK? This was the only place I could think of to find answers. I did not see this question on previous posts; I apologize if this subject has already been discussed. Thank you in advance for your help.

I wouldn't worry about it. If I was in your situation I'd feed the now f/t rat off without batting an eye. I basically follow my nose in these situations. Stuff that doesn't smell right gets composted.

Thank you, John. LOL Going by smell seems perfectly logical to me!
