Humidity question?

What percent of humidity is considered too high? I have seen ranges of %20-60 with more showing an average of %40 being acceptable. But cant find anything consistent on info. I have a California king. And a milksnake, i believe Pueblan and both adults

I'm not sure what's considered too high but generally my humidity is somewhere between 40-60% for my colubrids. I also live in GA where it's pretty humid, especially during the warmer months.

Thank you. I was asking because they are on eco earth and it keeps the humidity at about 40-45% when pretty much dry where im at and read they are prone to RI's

Your humidity sounds fine Game. You may even want to mist your enclosure or add a humid hide during shed. You shouldn't have any RI issues unless they're subjected to really high humidity for an extended period of time.

Thank you for the response. I just got a surprise shed from my king and it wasn't the best so i will definitely be misting when that time comes around
