I only had two clutches laid this season unfortunately and one entire clutch went bad due to incubator complications. Therefore I found myself with only one viable clutch from a first time mom. The eggs were definitely on the small side, but she gave me six good eggs and one boob egg.
The pairing was a Spider female to a Butter Pastel het Orange Ghost.
The boob egg developed fully but died in the egg shortly after cutting them open. And one of the good eggs had a very weak baby inside that did not absorb much yolk and died shortly after leaving the egg and bringing its yolk along with it. Unfortunately that was a nice looking Butter Bee. But on the bright side, the five remaining babies are healthy and doing well despite being on the small side (one as small as 17 grams!) and I did not get any normals in the clutch. So I really can't complain about the odds.
So without further delay, here are my only babies of the season.
Butter Pastel pos het Orange Ghost
Another Butter Pastel pos het Orange Ghost
A third Butter Pastel pos het Orange Ghost
A great looking Butter pos het Orange Ghost
And lastly, the star of the clutch, a Queen Bee pos het Orange Ghost (a female no less)
I hope you enjoy!
Cheers,
Riley
