Leopard Gecko Taming

Hello! My cousin is getting into herps a bit and has had a leopard gecko for a few months now. It's finally getting up to size and we are working on taming it out. Little guy is definitely feisty. Any tips on how to tame him out? Snakes are more of my area so I figured I should ask around.

Just handling frequently. The younger they are they can be nippy and wild. Gotta get them "trained" early. Also make sure they are fed enough
