    How much to feed?

I have a rescue that looks to be a young adult. She just finished laying 20 some odd slugs and is eating like there is no tomorrow. She can chow down on 20 crickets in like 2 minutes. I have been feeding collards, kale, zucchini, yellow squash, and bell peppers daily with about 10 giant meal worms and 15-20 crickets. Crickets are fed in a separate container because she is on walnut and I don't need her ingesting. How many crickets per day/week? What about worms? Other insects?

Worms and other insects should be more of a treat. Such as feeding one a pinky mouse from time to time. Theyre fattening. Since you feed in a seperate container, as many as it can handle in 10 minutes. Juveniles should be fed 2x daily. Both should always have a fresh supply of greens. Fresh Kale is a beardie favorite. Steer away from frozen veggies, they loose all the good stuff the longer theyre frozen. I also keep a tiny dish of water tucked in a shaded corner. Mine do drink from it regularly. Some drink, some dont.

    Hope i helped.

Thanks! I didn't know that 10 minute rule. I'm pretty sure that's too much for my girl she eats pretty fast. She loves a daily salad! Endive and kale are 2 faves. And she does drink from her bowl
