I'm Brand new and I want to start a personal breeding project!
Hello my name is Michael this is my first post. I have had reptiles for years but I am officially going to set a goal to breed my bp. I currently have a female lavender albino. I would like to make some killer pastel lavs with her
! (The father of my female was a black pastel het. Lav. And the mother was a simple recessive lav albino. ) I think I want to breed her to a black pastel het. Lav . Does this sound like a viable plan? What can I do to make highlighter level brightness out of these babies? Any input is welcome thank you for reading.

So I've been doing some looking around at what is avaliable online and I can't find pastel lavs. anywhere! I know they are not a new morph but it seems like there aren't a whole lot of people breeding them right now. Is thI'd the true? Also is it possible to make super pastel lavs.?

Wait... in your first post, didn't you say you were thinking of a black pastel lav project?

The pastel lav looks like this. Yes, super pastels are possible, but they are more work to get.
http://www.worldofballpythons.com/mo...albino-pastel/
0.1 Onyx Pastel
0.1 Bumblebee Het Red Axanthic
0.1 Cinnamon Fire
0.1 Mahogany
0.1 Mojave Bumblebee
0.1 Super Pastel Pinstripe
0.1 Super Pastel Spinner
0.1 Sherbert Fly
0.1 Calico
0.1 Mojave
1.0 SuperFly
1.0 Enchi Lesser Spider (possible pastel)
1.0 Pastel Vanilla
1.0 GHI Het Red Axanthic
0.1 Brazilian Rainbow Boa
1.0 Albino Corn Snake ("temporarily" caring for him)

Yes the plan is to breed my female lav with a male black pastel het.for lav because the father of my female was a black pastel het. For lav so I figure that may play a role in how well the babies come out. And it may increase the odds of hitting.

No, it won't increase the odds or do anything dramatic to the offspring. The father being black pastel doesn't do anything. I recommend playing around with the WOBP genetics calculator and studying some basic genetics before you go ahead with your project.

I have been messing around with it what I've come to is I wanna hit a black pastel lavender albino so I think I want to go lav. X black pastel het lav. That's why im asking what people think of this combo. If it is something that would be cool or make a more vibrant yellow/orange or if it is something other breeders have done. I mentioned that I haven't seen many lav morphs in an Earley post that's why I'm asking for opinions on how I can combine to get the brightest tones.

If anyone knows of a more vibrant combo to get the richest color from the lav albinos. I would greatly appreciate your input.

Useful Advice: Breed what YOU like.
If you don't enjoy opening up your own tubs, you're never going to put in the time it takes to get the results you're hoping for.
Edit: More Useful Advice: Patience is key.

I have explained in my pervious posts exactly what i ilke/what I'm looking to do. I am hoping someone with experience would be able to shed some light on how I can go about doing this project in a successful way. I have come to a conclusion and thought up a game plan and now im asking for feedback on what the community thinks would be a good mix in comparison to what I have come up with. and I'm also asking for positive/constructive criticism directly related the where my thought process is at. not an anambiguous statement about what I like.
